  • Wandering the rockpools of Ricketts Point Marine Sanctuary, we’ll be guided by marine biologist, Fam Charko, who will introduce us to the importance of intertidal zones and identify marine animals and plants that call the coastal area home.

Through hands-on field experience, this workshop will enhance your understanding of intertidal ecology, leaving you with a greater appreciation of the unique marine environment, its biodiversity and the means in which we can protect them.

We’ll start our morning with coffee and light refreshments, following which participants will have the opportunity to try bush food as we explore and learn about the native vegetation among the dunes in the area.
