We work with Nocs Provisions, integrating their Standard Issue product range into our birding workshops. Enriching the overall experience, this strategic alignment also introduces new and keen birders to the Nocs brand with meaningful product trials.
2024
We’ve spent time observing the beautiful, hidden world of birds with the Mappa community around Australia. Offered across a number of different Australian habitats, we’ve hosted birding walks in urban and regional Victoria as well as Queensland.
Equipped with their Nocs binoculars, participants learn how to identify birdlife by both sight and sound. We practice moving through the environment without disturbing local wildlife and learn about ethical birding while exploring different ecosystems. Accompanied by coffee and snacks, attendees forge connections over common interests and their newfound knowledge of Australia’s birdlife.
THE EXPERIENCE WAS SO FUN AND I HAD THE BEST TIME. THE GEOLOGIST WAS REALLY ENGAGING, SHE EXPLAINED HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS OF YEARS OF EARTH’S HISTORY MUCH BETTER THAN MY TEACHERS AT SCHOOL DID. I FELT LIKE THE INTEGRATION OF SCIENCE AND COMMUNITY WAS REALLY SPECIAL. he
