We’ve taken more than 250 community members birding across 2 states and countless habitats seeing nothing short of 100 unique species.

We work with Nocs Provisions, integrating their Standard Issue product range into our birding workshops. Enriching the overall experience, this strategic alignment also introduces new and keen birders to the Nocs brand with meaningful product trials.
Over the past 3 years, we’ve spent countless hours observing the beautiful, hidden world of birds with the Mappa community around Australia (and we’ve loved every second). We’ve offered birding workshops in different habitats across both Victoria and Queensland in partnership with Nocs Provisions.
Equipped with a pair of Nocs binoculars, participants learn how to identify birdlife by both sight and sound. We practice moving through the environment without disturbing local wildlife and learn about ethical birding while exploring different ecosystems. Accompanied by coffee and snacks, attendees forge connections over common interests and their newfound knowledge of Australia’s birdlife.
I learnt so much about birds and our guide was super knowledgeable, but it was also very restorative being in nature and I came away feeling like I had been on a mini holiday. It was well planned and I felt like it wasn't just about delivering information, but about making connections and enjoying each other's company.
